Lefty Frizzell had a record in the 1950 that was on the charts for 22 weeks.
““If You’ve Got the Money I’ve Got the Time.”
In recent history if you have got the money our President(s) have the time to see you. Politico reported on the Organization for Action that a person could meet with the President once a quarter for $250,000 to $500,000. (Politico is an American political journalism organization based in Arlington, Va., that distributes its content via television, the Internet, newspapers, and radio. Its coverage of Washington, D.C., includes the U.S. Congress, lobbying, media and the Presidency.)
I guess that I will not be invited to the meetings and know the plans of the President since I’m little short on money. But Mr. President, I do the have the time!
I’ve always been told that money talks. It is sad, but true. Hey, someone tell the President hello from me when you meet with him this month.
