ORIENT — Orient-Macksburg picked up a 4-3 win over Murray here Wednesday in a Bluegrass Conference showdown.

Jordan Thompson picked up the win for the Bulldogs, while Braydon Held took the loss for Murray.

"Jordan Thompson threw a gem, making great plays at the position, as well," Orient-Macksburg head coach Tyler Peterson said. "He also had a single and a stolen base."

Dylan Nichols, Jackson Mikkelsen, Cam Walker and Chantz Davidson each had a hit for the Bulldogs. Nichols added two stolen bases.

Held and Sam Rockhold each drove in one run for the Mustangs. Held walked five and struck out four in the loss.

Pleasantville 10, Interstate 35 0

PLEASANTVILLE — Interstate 35 was on the wrong end of a no-hitter here on July 3, losing a 10-0 game to Pleasantville.

Lucas Ealy took the loss for the Roadrunners, pitching 1 2/3 innings, giving up six earned runs on eight hits with two walks and one strikeout.

Levi Sandquist pitched 2 1/3 innings of relief, giving up one earned run on three hits with two walks and two strikeouts.

MSM 12, Central Decatur 2

ST. MARYS — Central Decatur lost to a ranked Martensdale-St. Marys club 12-2 here on July 3.

Joey Marcus and Matt Marvin each drove in one run apiece for the Cardinals. Marcus recorded two hits.

Noah Bishop, Marvin and Daniel Weir each finished with one hit in the game. Weir's hit was a double.

Marvin took the loss on the hill, pitching 5 2/3 innings and giving up six earned runs on 10 hits with seven walks and four strikeouts.
