Weeda, Newman wed in March 15 ceremony

Heather Jean Weeda and Kyle Andrew Newman were married in an 11 a.m. March 15 ceremony at Clarke County Events Center.

The bride is the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Weeda of Osceola. The groom is the son of Andrew and Monica Newman of Snellville, Ga.

Maid of honor was Amber Newman, sister of the groom.

Best man was Andrew Weeda, brother of the bride.

Flower girl was Leah Newman, cousin of the groom.

A quartet of Andrew Weeda, brother of the bride, Jim and Mark Weeda, cousins of the bride, and Joel Lanus, friend of the couple, were accompanied by Kelly Zeggers, friend of the bride.

A dinner and reception followed at 1 p.m.

The bride graduated from Simpson College and is an elementary teacher.

The groom graduated from the University of North Georgia and is a lieutenant in the Georgia National Guard. He is currently taking helicopter flight training at Fort Rucker, Ala.

After a honeymoon in Kissimmee, Fla., there was a reception in the couple’s honor at Vecoma on the Yellow River in Snellville, Ga.

They are living in Enterprise, Ala.
