According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Jonathan Wesley Shannon, 33, of Grand River, driving a 1996 Harley Davidson motorcycle north on 130th Avenue, struck a deer.
Shannon was transported by air ambulance to Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines because of injuries.
Damage estimate is $2,000.

According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Robert Francis Hurley, 31, of Osceola, driving a 2012 Dodge north on 270th Avenue, struck a deer.
Damage estimate is $2,500.

No citations were issued after an accident 3:25 p.m. Sept. 5 in the 1300 block of Highway 69.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Ashley Nicole Owens, 21, of Humeston, driving a 1999 Saturn south on Highway 69, hit a slick spot on the road and exited the road. Owens overcorrected the vehicle, which cause the vehicle to overturn onto its top.
There were no reported injuries. Damage estimate is $2,500.
