Fry re-elected to Republican leadership

Rep. Joel Fry, R-Osceola, was re-elected as assistant majority leader in the Iowa House.

Fry was recently re-elected by the people of Clarke, Lucas, Wayne and Decatur counties to the Iowa House.

“I’m honored that House Republicans have selected me to once again serve as on their leadership team,” Fry said. “House Republicans will continue to find opportunities to make family life more affordable, upward mobility more likely and employment easier to find.”

Fry and his wife, Heather, own and operate a small business. He is also a licensed independent social worker. Fry and his wife have eight children.

The Legislature convenes on Jan. 12, 2015.
