Osceola Children’s Theatre to present ‘The Wizard of Oz’

“Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.”

L. Frank Baum’s classic story of “The Wizard of Oz” is coming to Osceola.

Osceola Children’s Theatre presents “The Wizard of Oz” 7 p.m. Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2. Performances will be on the stage at Clarke Community High School.

It is being called a musical production for children ages one to 100.

The show stars McCormick Evink, Emma Bolton, Hailee and Eli Fry, Molly Stewart, Kiaya and Josey Dunbar, Eli Crawford, John Reynoldson, Spencer Smith, Molly Sickels, Audrey and Jake Pontier, Ayden Wallace, Tyler Davenport, Logan and Reagan Verwers, Nathan Allard, Jack and Abbie Schlichte, Kelsey Haltom, Alyssa Kent, Blair and Paige Boehlke, Kal-Leigh Brangers and Mikinli Jones.

“The Wizard of Oz” is directed by Kathy Kooiker.

Admission at the door is $5 for adults and $4 for children ages 12 and under.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and will be first come, first seated.

The production is an adaptation by Kathryn Miller Schultz with Artreach Children’s Theatre Plays.
