No citations were issued after an accident 10:50 a.m. Aug. 12 at 217 Adams St.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Anthony Michael Walker, 17, of Osceola, driving a 1997 Honda, turned north onto Adams Street. A 1993 Dodge driven by Harvey Gene German, 54, of Osceola, was backing out from a driveway onto Adams Street and struck the passenger side of Walker’s vehicle.
Damage estimate is $5,000 to Walker’s vehicle. No damage estimate was listed for German’s vehicle.

Hunter James Howsden, 17, of Weldon was cited for failure to maintain control after an accident 9:36 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 2000 block of Highway 69.
According to a Clarke County Sheriff’s report, Howsden, driving a 1997 Chevrolet owned by Melissa Ann Brammer south on Highway 69, lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a slight curve in the road. Howsden lost control because of exceeding the speed limit.
Howsden overcorrected the vehicle, crossed the center line onto the left shoulder of the road and proceeded back across the center line. The vehicle entered the west ditch, dug into a small ditch and rolled over onto its top.
There were three occupants in the vehicle and all three were transported to Clarke County Hospital for possible injuries.
Damage estimate is $8,000.
