Fry elected House Majority Whip

Recently, House Republicans selected Rep. Joel Fry, R-Osceola, as the new House Majority Whip.

Rep. Fry will replace Rep. Chris Hagenow, R-Windsor Heights, who was chosen by the House Republican caucus as majority leader, as the Republican Whip.

“I’m honored to be selected by House Republicans to serve as their Whip,” Rep. Fry said.  “I’m excited for this opportunity to be a part of the Republican leadership team heading into the 2016 session.”

Fry, who was first elected to the House in 2010, previously served as an assistant leader.  He is a small business owner and farmer in Clarke County.
