Lou Pett, 85, of Osceola died Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola.
Celebration of life services were 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at Christ’s Way Church, 201 LeAnn Dr., in Osceola.
Wildon Lou Pett was born June 5, 1930, to Andrew and Colva Jones Taylor in Hartman, Arkansas. She went to school in Osceola and Murray.
Lou married Kenneth Pett in 1948, and three children blessed this union, Michael James, Elaine Yvonne and Jason Ray.
Lou worked for Osceola Head Start and Bethage for years. Lou liked to spend her time sewing, crafts, collecting dolls and buttons. Her greatest joys in her life were her children ad grandchildren.
Lou was preceded in death by her parents, husband Kenneth and son Michael James.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Elaine (Mike) of Park City, Montana; son Jason of Osceola; grandchildren, Lori (Chuck) Shearer of Missouri, Joe (Crystal) Pett of Des Moines, Kendall (Debbie) Garner of Park City, Montana, Stacia Garner of Park City, Montana, Marti (Zach) Mathes of Murray, Taylor (Raven) Martin of Des Moines and Wyatte Pett of Garden Grove; great-grandchildren, Cassie and Molly Garner, Lance, Elaine and Evan Garner, Hadley and Gracie Mathes, and Zayden, Xavier, Raven and Jae ‘Sior Ilianna Martin; great-great-grandson Skyler of Montana and sister Selma Cline of Osceola.
