Donna Cully

Donna Jean Cully, daughter of Donald Streeter and Mary (Conklin) Streeter, was born Aug. 7, 1933, in Indianola, and passed from this life May 7, 2009, at her home in Osceola, at 75 years of age.
    
Donna graduated from Runnells High School. She was united in marriage to Donald Eugene Cully on Nov. 10, 1956, at Runnells. They lived in Denver, Colo., Los Angeles, Calif. and Phoenix, Ariz. before moving to Osceola in 1994.
    
Donna retired from Wal-Mart where she worked with computers. She was one of the original employees at the first Wal-Mart to open in the Denver area. In Osceola, she had worked part-time at Terribles Casino helping with banquet set-up for eight years. 
    
Donna was an active member of First Christian Church in Osceola. She was also a member of  Neighborhood Club in Clarke County. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and spending time with her family.
    
Donna was preceded in death by her father and mother.
     
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Donald Cully of Osceola; brothers, Merrill (Karolyn) Streeter of Prairie City, Verl (Carol) Streeter of Runnells, Larry (Ellen) Streeter of Des Moines; several nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.

Per her wishes, Donna was cremated. A memorial gathering and visitation will be held at Kale Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 13, 2009, from 6-8 p.m.

Interment will take place in the Powers Warren Cemetery at a later date.
