Murphy, Cantonwine wed in Des Moines

Tessa Murphy and Michael Cantonwine, both of Urbandale, were married in a Oct. 19 ceremony at Cafe di Scala in Des Moines.

The bride is the daughter of David and Tina Murphy of Woodburn. The groom is the son of Harold and Karen Cantonwine of Ames.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Rogers.

Best man was David Cantonwine, brother of the groom.

Attendant to both the bride and groom was Arwen Cantonwine, daughter of the groom.

A reception was held at Urbandale Senior Recreation Center.

The couple will honeymoon on a southern Caribbean cruise in February.

The bride graduated from Clarke Community High School in Osceola in 2001, Simpson College in Indianola in 2005, and Iowa State University in Ames in 2008. She is a legal assistant at Belin McCormick, P.C., in Des Moines.

The groom graduated from Ames High School in 1990 and Iowa State University in Ames in 1996. He is a senior field engineer at Oracle in Des Moines.

The couple will reside in Urbandale.
