Hospital trustees receive IHA certification

New graduates from statewide program to advance hospital governance

Clarke County Hospital’s Board of Trustee members were among the 61 Iowa hospital trustees recognized at the IHA Governance Forum held at the Sheraton Hotel in West Des Moines on Friday, April 21. Don Waltz, Teresa Woods, Kevin Klemesrud, Deb Lundquist, Terry Jacobsen, and Dave Selene have all received the IHA Trustee Education Certification, achieving new levels of governance education and effectiveness that will help Clarke County Hospital make even greater operating decisions to benefit the doctors, employees, and the care of patients at CCH. Board members Deb Lundquist, Teresa Woods and Terry Jacobsen along with Brian Evans, CEO of Clarke County Hospital were present at the IHA Governance Forum where they received the IHA Education Certificate in recognition of the Board’s accomplishments.
