Alex Ray Gaumer

Alex Ray Gaumer, son of Stanley Ray Gaumer and Glenda Marie (Conroy) Gaumer was born January 8, 1990 in Des Moines, Iowa and passed from this life Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Des Moines, Iowa at 29 years of age.

Alex lived with his family in the St. Marys area growing up as a child. He graduated from I-35 and went on to Iowa State University and received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Alex was currently living in Des Moines, working at CDA in Grimes. Alex was a loving person with a huge heart. He enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke, disc golf and spending time having a good time with his friends and family.

Alex leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Stan and Glenda Gaumer of Indianola, IA; sister, Terra Siefkas Brown of Des Moines, IA; nephew, Blake Siefkas, nephew, Trayvon Brown, niece, Abbygail Brown as well as other relatives and many friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, Saturday October 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Fr. Dave Polich officiating.

His family will greet friends from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the services on Saturday, at Kale Funeral Home.

Cremation was entrusted to Kale Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to his family for a fitting tribute to be decided at a later date.
