Clarke County SCICF grant deadline is April 15

The Clarke County South Central Iowa Community Foundation grant deadline is approaching. To be considered for a grant, applications must be postmarked by April 15. Clarke County has $4,000 in grant funds available for charitable projects & non- profit organizations serving Clarke County.

To be considered for a grant, organizations must be tax-exempt, non-profit entities classified by the IRS as a 501(c) (3) organization or a government body (school, city, county).

Grants are awarded in a competitive grant process to those organizations that score on four funding priorities; positive impact to Clarke County, permanency of the project, the number of people impacted by the project and the amount of community support the project has, including other financial support.

The mission of South Central Iowa Community Foundation is to contribute to a better life for the people of South Central Iowa by helping donors carry out their charitable intent and by providing responsible stewardship of gifts for community purposes.
