Alice Chase

Alice Chase was born March 11, 1929 in Osceola, Iowa to parents Kenneth and Lena See.  She died August 12, 2020 in Story City, Iowa.

She graduated from Osceola High School. Alice was a member of Osceola First Christian Church and was a Sunday School teacher there for many years.  Alice was also a 4H leader.  She was also active for many years in Eastern Star.  Both Alice and Billie enjoyed square dancing. They also were involved with the AFS (American Field Service). Together they farmed and raised a family near Osceola.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Billie 4 months ago.

She is survived by her daughters Christine (Vernon Jr) Farthing, and Deanna (Jim) Kilmer, and Very Special family friend Heike Zimmerman.  Grandchildren Vernon III (Aurora) Farthing, Jennifer (Steve) Zweibel, and Charity Farthing. Five great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

There will be a Graveside service at 11:00 AM September 4, 2020 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola, Iowa.
