Background – tell me about yourself.

My husband Scott and I have made Clarke County our home raising our two son’s Richard " Carter” and Riley. We both graduated from Clarke Community High School here in Osceola. Scott is the general manager at Cook Plumbing, Corp in West Des Moines, he has been with the company for 29 years. In our free time we like to spend time with family, race at the Bethany Speedway, and be outdoors.

How long have you been treasurer, and can you give a brief overview of your time in this position?

I have been in the treasurer office for 10 years with becoming Treasurer April 1, 2021. I started as the driver’s license examiner for our county. I then became the First Deputy when Marcia Lang retired and then Treasurer with the retirement of Debbie Lynn.

What are your goals as treasurer?

That myself and my office staff which joins me as a team to provide superior customer service in our property tax, motor vehicle and driver’s license department to the constituent of Clarke County.

What makes you the best candidate for the job? If currently in this position, why should you continue?

Ten years of Experience in the County Treasurer’s office.
