John Page

John Edgar Page, son of John Allen Page and Bernice Marguerite Carson Page was born August 9, 1953 in Tarkio, Missouri and passed from this life Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Clarke County Hospital at 68 years of age.

John along with his family moved to Osceola at a young age. He received his education in Osceola and attended Clarke Community Schools, graduating in 1971.

He was united in marriage to Karen Kay Snook Page on December 3, 1977 in Osceola, Iowa and this union was blessed with two children, Eric and Krystal.

John was a very kind man who loved to visit and could tell the best stories of his adventures growing up. He loved the outdoors and working on cars. So much so that he worked for thirty-six years repairing cars with his long time friend Tom at Tom and John’s Auto. Together, they operated a very trusted and respected repair shop. John also enjoyed camping and hunting with the family and fishing with his friend, Joe. In later years, during retirement, he liked wood turning and gardening and watching the birds at the feeders when he wasn’t able to do anything outside.

Those relatives who preceded John in death were his parents; brother, David Allen Page, father-in-law, Darwin Snook and mother-in-law, Lucille Snook.

John leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Karen Kay Page of Osceola, IA, son, Eric (Bailey) Page of New Virginia, IA, daughter, Krystal (Mike) Weber of Early, IA grandchildren, Ryder and Timber Page and Logan and Alaina Weber; brother-in-law, Darwin Snook and his wife, Barb as well as one niece and her family and one nephew and his family as well as other relatives and many friends.
