Josephine was born October 22, 1926 in Des Moines Iowa to Ernest & Lizzie Wagner. She was the youngest of eight children. Josephine met Gene Emery Page and was married October 21, 1944. To this union four children were born.

Josephine spent most of her life in Clarke County Iowa. She was a farmer’s wife for several years and later worked as a cook for Osceola Leisure Manor. She retired as a cook for Clarke County Schools in Weldon, Iowa. She had been living in Oklahoma the last few years. She was dedicated to her church, loved reading, cooking and visiting friends and family.

Josephine is survived by her son Gene (Julie) Page, daughter Judy Bacon, son Donald (Jeab) Page, son David (Helen) Page, 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Page, parents Ernest & Lizzie Wagner, brother Charles Wagner, brother Ernest Wagner, sisters Dorothy Wagner, Helen Tomlinson, Anabelle Nichols, Lillian Brown, Thelma Downard, son-in-law Marvin Bacon, Great Grandchild Isaiah Bacon.

A graveside service will be held Thursday December 9, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola, Iowa.

Any memorial contributions should be made to the Make A Wish Foundation.

Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery
