Helen Elben

Helen passed away on December 24, 2021, at 97 years of age. Helen was born January 5, 1924, to Harry E. and Rebecca (Wicket) Reynolds. She was the oldest of four children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Gladys Reynolds; siblings, Wayne (Bud) Reynolds and his wife Doris; niece, Debra Reynolds; sisters, June Dop and husband, Arlen and Marie Mitchell, husband of 19 years, Doyle Houlette; husband of 13 years, Roy Elben.

Helen is survived by a son, Stan (Beth) Houlette and daughter, Linda (Larry) Simmons; three grandsons, Kevin (LeAnn) Houlette; Tim (Jen) Houlette; Lee (Lindsay) Simmons and seven great-granddaughters, Ann (Grant) Wheeler, Renee and Stephanie Houlette; Ashleigh and Rachelle Houlette; Penelope and Daphne Simmons along with brother-in-law Merrell Mitchell; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 31, 2021, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola with interment at New Virginia Cemetery in New Virginia.

The family will be present to greet friends from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Kale Funeral Home - Osceola.
