Max Dugger

Max Kendall Dugger 81 of West Des Moines, IA died at home October 27, 2022. He was born December 16, 1940 to Kenneth & Helen (O’Neall) Dugger in Murray, IA.

Max was a proud graduate of Murray High School.He attended Simpson College and he was a member of Kappa Fraternity.

Max had an adventurous spirit and worked in a variety of jobs in sales, stock broker, and funeral counselor in CA, IA, MO, MN

He will be dearly missed by his sisters, Janet Burgus of Mission Viejo, CA and Judy Dugger Cordle (Dick) of Waukee, IA and nieces and nephews, Staci Shirley of Tipp City, OH, Kristi Testrake (Matt) of Olathe, KS, Travis Burgus (Jennifer) of Liberty Lake, WA, Jill Arthur (Matt) of  Chicago, IL, great nieces and nephews, Katherine, Nathan, Olivia, and Nicholas Shirley, Rex and Reese Burgus,  Ava and Luke Testrake, Harrison and Sloane Arthur, as well as many cousins and friends.

Max’s hobbies included reading, Toastmasters International, spending time at the West Des Moines Library and lunch with friends.

Max was preceded  in death by his parents and brother-in-law John Black.

Family will be at visitation at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, IA  Saturday, November 5 , 2022  from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Funeral services following at 11:00  Interment at the Murray Cemetery will be held directly after the funeral.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to your choice of organization.
