Donna Fulton

Donna Rae Jean Fulton, age 90, of Leon, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Kathryn Porter was born December 24, 1932. She went Home with Jesus on March 10, 2023.

She was married to Edward Dykes and three children were born to this union, Charles, Dale and Diana.

She later was married to Carroll Fulton.

Donna was a wonderful cook. She was one of the head cooks at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Neb. for years. When she moved back to Leon, she cooked for special events at the Leon Country Club.

She owned a cabin at Leisure Lake in Missouri. She had family and friends there for fun fill weekends. She loved to travel.

Some of her happiest years were spent with companion and friend Kermit (Woody) Wood. They traveled, had family cookouts and just enjoyed their time together.

Donna was baptized at Leon Bible Church.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles, sister Mary Ann, daughter-in-law Vickie, grandson Chris and son Dale.

She leaves behind her son Charles (Chuck) Dykes of Van Wert, daughter Diana and Maurice Dean of Osceola, daughter-in-law Sally Dykes of Leon, eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Burial in Decatur Cemetery.
