David McPherson

David George McPherson, 84 of Osceola, Iowa died on June 7th, 2023.   Services will be held at 10:00 am July 29th at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, with burial at Maple Hill Cemetery.

David was born to Elwyn McPherson and Waunita Touet.  David held many jobs to include working for his father’s International Harvester dealership, owning and running a rock dump truck laying down material for I-35 then owning a Texaco station, managing KFC and Kings Food Host, and retired at Iowa Methodist Medical Center as a Head Maintenance Engineer.

Survivors include his sisters Barb Weidenhaft, Deb Sheetz, and Susan Mohr.  He is also survived by his sons Mike, Mark McPherson, and daughter Michele McQuail.  His life partner: Grace DeLapp, stepdaughters Bev Heinemann and April Lawrence; a total of 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
