Erik Clinton Pounds, 42, of South Gustan Street apt. A4, was charged with third-degree burglary- vehicle 8:47 p.m. May 10 at 701 W. McLane St.
According to an Osceola Police report, Pounds broke into six unlocked vehicles parked at Rusty’s Auto. Pounds admitted to breaking into the vehicles because he is homeless and stole items from them because it was convenient. Pounds was located approximately three blocks from the burglary and possessed several items stolen from the six vehicles.

Andrew Thomas Palmer, 27, of West Adair Street Creston, was charged with drivers license denied/revoked- OWI 5:58 a.m. May 11 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 34 and Furnas Drive.
According to an Osceola Police report, Palmer said that he believed he currently had a temporary restricted license. Officers confirmed through dispatch that his license was a revoked status and placed Palmer under arrest for driving while revoked.

Patrick William Robinson, 42, of East Diehl Street Des Moines, was charged with possession of controlled substance third offense and driving under suspension 7:06 p.m. May 11 in the 200 block of North Main Street.
According to an Osceola Police report, Robinson has a suspended license in Iowa with seven withdrawals in effect. Robinson had a strong odor of marijuana on his person and admitted to having marijuana in his Jeep. Robinson retrieved the marijuana which was in a black plastic container and contained approximately a gram of marijuana.

Riley Dean Jones, 18, of East Pearl Street Osceola, was charged with a warrant 12 a.m. May 13 at 120 E. Pearl St.
According to an Osceola Police report, Jones had punched the victim twice in the face causing the victim to fall on the ground. The victim sustained a broken nose from Jones and one other person. The victim stated there were several people there, but knows the two people that assaulted him. This act had happened in Woodburn in Clarke County.

Abel Salinas, 25, of West Clay Street, was charged with possession of controlled substance third offense and possession of drug paraphernalia 1:16 a.m. Friday at the Osceola Police Department.
According to an Osceola Police report, during a search of the residence officers located a small amount of green plant material (marijuana), numerous items of drug paraphernalia and three marijuana plants.

Fabian Alberto Salinas, 21, of West Clay Street Osceola, was charged with controlled substance schedule IV/V, drug tax stamp violations, possession of controlled substance third offense and possession of drug paraphernalia 1:50 a.m. Friday at the Osceola Police Department.
According to an Osceola Police report, officers executed a search warrant at 216 West Clay Street. During the search warrant officers located three marijuana plants, numerous amounts of drug paraphernalia and green leafy substance that was field tested and showed a positive result for marijuana.

Amber Lynn McVay, 28, of Garst Street Woodburn, was charged with assault with bodily injury 2:01 a.m. Sunday at the Osceola Police Department.
According to an Osceola Police report, McVey was involved in an altercation at the Broken Spoke and the victim told officers that McVey punched her in the face.
