No injuries were reported following an accident on Nov. 20.

According to an Osceola police report, Austin Taylor of Osceola was headed eastbound on Highway 34 in a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. As he was going through the intersection of Highway 34 and Warren Ave., a 2020 Ford F550 driven by Dakota Minchow of Lincoln, Nebraska, turned in front of him, causing Taylor to collide with him. Minchow told officers that he had a green arrow to turn left, and that Taylor collided with him as he was making his turn.

Officers were able to review video footage from Caseys at 1706 Jeffreys Dr. from the camera that sits at the southwest intersection. The video showed that eastbound traffic had a green light, meaning the left turning lane westbound would have had a normal green light, necessitating Minchow to yield to oncoming traffic before turning.

Damage is estimated at $10,000 to the 2017 Chevrolet and $5,000 to the 2020 Ford. No injuries were reported.
