Southern Iowa Sirens Fastpitch formed in July 2021 and completed their first season of competitive USSSA softball in October. In their first season, both the 14u team and the 12u team competed in five tournaments through Central Iowa Sports in the Des Moines Metro Area. Most CIS tournaments were two days, totaling at least four games each tournament weekend.
Although the Sirens are based out of Osceola, they welcome committed players from neighboring communities. Their objective is to instill good sportsmanship, honesty, courage, and confidence through healthy and competitive team play. The teams practice all year long, spending the off-season focusing on mechanics, strength, and team bonding. SIS recently welcomed a newly formed 10u team to the organization and all three teams will begin Spring tournament play at the end of March, 2022.
