Mustang boys basketball won the Nov. 30 game against Lamoni 40-26.
“I thought both teams really struggled offensively in our first game. Both teams should be better in that area,” said coach Darin Wookey. “I thought for the most part our defense was very good at times and other times we had some minor break downs, especially late. We will get those things corrected.”
Brycen Wookey, Christian Nevarez and Titus Barber were some of the more notable players of the game. Brycen had a double-double on the night with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
Mustang boys basketball won their Friday against Twin Cedars 36-50.
“We did not shoot the ball real well, but we played a much better second half,” said Wookey. “Twin Cedars is much improved. Devin Arkema had a really nice game for Twin Cedars. Our defense was solid, but we still have a lot of work to do.”
