Cross Country had their first meet of the season on Aug. 22 at Jester State Park for the Woodward Granger Invitational; the day was reported to be 70 degrees and sunny.
Sophomore Micah Domina placed 5th overall with a time of 21:29.30; captain and senior Calhoun Lundquist placed 7th overall with a time of 21:37.60. The varsity boys tied for second as a team with West Marshall.
On the girl’s side; sophomore Claire Jacobsen came in fifth overall with a time of 26:28.80.
“We did really well;” said head coach Thomas Kedley of the team’s first appearance.
