The Clarke bowling season began last Monday, at home against Greene County, with the girls team winning 2189 to 1633, and the boys falling 2802 to 2537.
High scoreres for the girls in total pins was Haylee Tipton in first with 332 pins, Essa Jones-Clark in second with 331 pins, Emily Glenn in third with 328 pins and Claire Jacobsen in fifth with 279 pins. Abbi Nash placed sixth with 264 pins and Alicia Castillo in seventh with 243 pins.
High games scores were Tipton, first, 177; Glenn, second, 169; Jones-Clark, third, 167; Nash, fourth, 165; Jacobsen, sixth, 147 and Castillo, seventh, 132.
Aydan Mathews had the highest total pins for the boys team with 383, placing in fourth. Logan Gracey placed sixth with 347 pins, Cooper cicealone in ninth with 318, Bryce Giza in tenth with 314, Cole Jacobsen in elevnth with 291 and Tayton Dudney in twelfth with 268.
High game scoresf or the boys were Mathews, fifth, 190; Gracey, sixth, 190; Giza, eighth, 172; Ciecalone, tenth, 168; Cole Jacobsen, eleventh, 155 and Dudney, twelfth, 142.
Bowling will host Centerville on Thursday afternoon Dec. 5, and a tournament at home on Saturday, Dec. 7.
