The Murray basketball teams had a winning week last week, with both teams winning three of three games played. The season for the Lady Mustangs as of Friday’s win stood at 6-3, and the Mustangs 7-2.

MELCHER-DALLAS -- The Murray girls enjoyed an early 14-2 lead over the Lady Saints on Jan. 3, with Meclher-Dallas trailing throughout the contest. Keirsten Klein scored 14 of the team’s points, with Maliya Berry and Leah Frederick each adding 13. The team had a 42.0% shooting average.
On rebounds, Klein had nine total, and Berry had eight of the team’s 30 (three offensive and 27 defensive). Klein also accounted for three of the four team blocks.
